Alice ISD proudly congratulates Amelia Salinas and Dr. Alma Garcia on their well-deserved retirements. Together, they dedicated an impressive 46 years of combined service to the district, leaving a lasting impact on students, staff, and the broader school community. Salinas served as AISD’s Technology Supervisor, where her leadership and expertise helped advance the district’s technological infrastructure and support systems. Dr. Garcia, as the Executive Director of Federal Programs, provided invaluable guidance in securing and managing resources that supported student achievement and educational equity across the district. Superintendent Dr. Anysia Trevino expressed her heartfelt appreciation for their years of service, noting that both individuals played vital roles in shaping the success of AISD students. Their contributions have left a legacy of excellence, and the district extends its deepest thanks as they embark on this new chapter. We wish Amelia and Dr. Garcia all the best in their retirement.
