The Noonan Summer ACE students embarked on an educational tour of the Texas State Aquarium, featuring highlights such as the dolphin show, shark feeding, and tactile experiences with stingrays and sharks. They then enjoyed a culminating lunch at CiCi's Pizza.

Alice ISD Custodians’ Summer Efforts
During the summer months, the custodial staff at Alice Independent School District works diligently to prepare classrooms for the upcoming academic year. One of their major tasks includes stripping and waxing all classroom floors—a labor-intensive process that ensures a clean, safe, and polished learning environment for students and staff.
Each classroom takes approximately 6 to 7 hours to complete, involving careful removal of old wax, thorough cleaning, and the application of new wax coats. Drying time between layers of wax for 6 layers or so.
Despite the demanding nature of the work, custodians maintain a steady pace and high standards of cleanliness and professionalism, reflecting their commitment to the upkeep of school facilities and the success of the district. Their hard work behind the scenes plays a vital role in creating a welcoming space for learning each fall.
