The district's Pre-Kindergarten program provides early learning experiences designed to mitigate the impact of at-risk characteristics to eligible students who are 4 years of age on or before September 1 (see Eligibility Criteria below).
Military families who live within the school boundaries may register for enrollment by contacting the Noonan Elementary campus for grades PK - 5. Please contact Amber Garcia, Military Liaison or Dr. Massey, Noonan Principal for campus tours to all prospective families who are looking for a great school district.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has provided guidance for military families on Free PreKindergarten Eligibility.
Students are eligible for enrollment in Pre-K if they are dependents of:
- active duty uniformed members (parents or official guardians) of the US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or Coast Guard who have eligible children residing in Texas
- activated or mobilized uniformed members of the Texas National Guard (army or air guard), or activated or mobilized members of the Texas National Guard (army or air guard), or activated or mobilized members of the reserve components of the US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air force, or Coast Guard who have eligible children residing in Texas
- uniformed service members who are missing in action (MIA)
